Their idea:to maintain/create a continuous 

living space visually connected to the woodland site.

I adore this space! I love that it's all the same WALNUT wood through the house but because it's cut differently it creates this amazing contrast.Love the play of texture with white textured Brick wall vs smooth plaster ceilings and 

white Corian casework.

The whole space is connected quietly to the outside !

SWING it ......

The swing is an essential part of the home for a lot of Bombayites! Sadly they tend to all be pretty much the same, mostly carved and quite ethnic not terribly interesting.They are almost always placed in the balcony or the living room.I've never been a huge fan of this particular piece of furniture in homes  in the city ,BUT i do love them in holiday homes.

Recently though I've been converted,I love these styles that I've found and now I think I might join my mumbai friends and just SWING IT !
