5 days at the beach. Bliss and peace.
We had the entire Sri Lankan and Australian cricket teams staying at our hotel, with half the Sri Lankan army camping out on the beach ( to protect the teams of course )
We were moved from our lovely room to a suite so as not distract any of the team. (LoL) Not that we saw any one of any interest except the very adorable Mr Sangakara and his family.
The beaches were spotless, the pool was private. We lunched at the Aman, my dream hotel and dined at the Paradise road – Villa Bentota.

If you visit you must – stay at the Villa Bentota for a
honeymoon type holiday, the Amangalle if you can afford it, and The Heritance,Ahungalla
if your with a group of friends.
The food at the Amangalle is outstanding as is the restaurant
at Villa Banetota.
