Location: Greece, Island of Therassia
There are two hotels here owned and designed by Costis Psychas which are my current obsession!
there is Perivolas hideaway (the converted pumice stone warehouse) and Perivolas Oia Santorini,300 year old converted caves, which were the homes of local farmers and fishermen.
More images in my next update....

This building was originally a warehouse built
for a pumice mine.Part of the building was built in the
water so the boasts could easily carry away the pumice
(during the 1860's).
The façade of the house is constructed of
volcanic rock gathered on the property.

The owner Costis Psychas along with local craftsmen painstakingly re built this abandoned building. the details are fantastic with rounded walls and clean woodwork that best highlights the views of the sea.

love the floors of hand pressed cement and sand.
All the work was done by local craftsmen.
