Infinite shades of blue , The Maldives

So the other day I read an article about the Maldives sinking !!
Apparently in preparation of this, the inhabitants of this stunning island nation are going to relocate to other neighbouring countries or they might buy themselves a new slice of land somewhere.
On the flip side there are also a lot of experts who say absolutely none of this is true and the Island will be just fine.
Either which way the Maldives is now on the top of my MUST VISIT list, after all one can’t take a chance of not visiting a paradise faced with possible extinction!

When I do get there, this is where I’ll be staying , Makunufushi, South Malé Atoll, Maldives in the Indian Ocean.........

TRANSLUCENT

When I saw these GLASS BAUBLES I fell in love with them... then I discovered the rest of Caroline Swift’s artistry and wanted pretty much everything from her collection.
These products are so unique and authentic that it’s just pure Luxury.
She creates translucent cashmere sweaters, alongside paper-thin bone china tea lights!!
Makes me think of a Midsummer Night’s Dream ........!

CABO COINCIDENCE !

So this morning I had just finished reading an e-mail from my fabulously talented architect friend Tom ,and a couple of minutes later ,as I am browsing through Apartment Therapy I find stunning images of a home in Cabo that I recognize immediately. I had seen these pictures with Tom because he was a designer on the same project while working with Steven Harris . How completely random is that.
It’s an AMAZING project of precision design, where the site the building and the views unfold quietly and in parts! The details are just so clever……….I don’t think I’d ever be able to leave this place.
